SEO & Content Marketing Intern

Responsibilities

Role Summary

  • Assist in managing the Top 100 Keyword Tracker: daily/weekly updates, rank fluctuations, and reporting
  • Support backlink MIS creation: log new, lost, spam, and broken links in our system
  • Monitor FAQ rankings, suggest new queries, and update status weekly
  • Help prepare Weekly SEO MIS reports using GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, and Looker Studio dashboards

Conduct routine checks on:

    • Keyword position changes
    • FAQ schema visibility
    • Page-level bounce rates, visit time, CTR
    • Document and escalate drops in traffic or ranking to SEO lead with relevant insights
    • Maintain and update internal SEO SOPs, task trackers, and content logs
    • Collaborate with SEO lead and technical SEO for structured reporting

Eligibility Criteria

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or similar fields
  • Must have completed at least one course or certification in SEO / Google Analytics / Digital
  • Marketing (Coursera, Udemy, HubSpot, Google, etc.) Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Search Console, or basic CMS platforms (WordPress)
  • Strong command over written English and content formats (headings, meta descriptions, FAQ formatting)
  • Ability to commit to structured reporting and weekly deliverables

  • Ahrefs / SEMrush
  • Google Sheets (structured SEO trackers)
  • WordPress (basic SEO view)
