Finance & Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

4+ years of accounting experience — CA firm background or multi-entity company exposure preferred.
B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter or CMA Inter is a strong plus.
Proven track record of on-time statutory filings — GST, TDS, and payroll compliances.
Comfort working across multiple entities and switching contexts without losing accuracy.
Strong communication for coordinating with CAs, auditors, banks, and vendors.
High integrity — this role handles sensitive group and directors’ financial information.

Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for all group companies and directors — journal entries, ledgers, invoicing, expense booking, and fixed assets.
Handle month-end closing across entities — bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and debtors / creditors aging.
Ensure timely statutory compliance under the direction of Chartered Accountants — GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns), TDS / TCS deduction, payment, and quarterly returns, advance tax, PF / ESIC / PT, and ROC / MCA filings.
Own the compliance calendar for all entities — zero missed due dates, with challans, acknowledgments, and filing proofs tracked and archived.
Prepare and publish MIS on a weekly and monthly basis — receivables, payables, cash flow, revenue, expenses, and entity-wise profitability.
Support preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and audit schedules for all group entities.
Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and the CA team — provide data, resolve queries, and close audits on time.
Manage receivables follow-up, vendor payments with proper approvals, and day-to-day banking operations.
Support international billing and export documentation — LUT, FIRC / BRC, and inward remittance tracking for UAE and US entities.
Maintain organized records — invoices, agreements, statutory registers, and complete audit trails.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

Strong fundamentals in accounting standards and double-entry bookkeeping
Hands-on experience with Tally and / or Zoho Books (or similar cloud accounting software)
Multi-entity / group-company accounting, including inter-company entries and reconciliations.
Month-end closing discipline and thorough ledger scrutiny

Taxation & Compliance

Working knowledge of GST — return filing, GSTR-2B vs books reconciliation, and e-invoicing
TDS / TCS — applicable sections and rates, deduction, payment, and return filing (24Q / 26Q)
Exposure to PF, ESIC, PT, and ROC / MCA compliance
Proven habit of maintaining compliance calendars with proofs and trackers.

MIS & Reporting

Building and publishing weekly / monthly MIS — receivables, payables, cash flow, and entity-wise P&L
Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, lookups, and clean workpapers
Ability to prepare financial statements and audit-ready schedules

Coordination & Discipline

Working under CA / auditor direction — executing instructions accurately and on time
High integrity and strict confidentiality with group and directors’ financial information
Deadline-driven, organized, and meticulous with documentation
